My railway modelling is a hobby that challenges me, I am also greedy, so I
want as much as I can in a small space. The challenge is that with my old
age comes shaking hands and weakening eye sight. So to model on a small
scale is difficult hence the challenge. The layout has no basis in fact and
is loosely based between the sixties and present day, with a heritage line
thrown in for good measure. Once I got good DCC continuity around the tracks
my focus has been on modelling the scenery. I am enjoying the process of
adding lighting to as much as I can and also the inclusion of sound has
added another dimension.
